Rules for the Freshers

The entering into university and first year of studying is one of the most exciting and impressive period in the person’s life. The students have new experience and new lifestyle. Besides, they study and live in the new environment and among new people. If the student does not know how to behave in new conditions, he can collide with many problems. But if he will follow several rules for freshers, the new experience in the educational institutions will bring only positive emotions.
One of the main rules is that all the students in the university are in the same ship. All the students feel uncomfortable and unaccustomed in new environment and everybody is looking for the support from the outside. If some students seem to be self – confident and calm, certainly they are good actors and this calmness and bravado is just the defense mechanism. It is quite natural that freshes feel themselves uncomfortable.
Those students who have weak character have the first desire to hide and not to communicate with other people. But it is a huge mistake! The recommendation number two is to be sociable and affable notwithstanding on the uneasiness and embarrassment. In fact the first days are the best period to make new acquaintances and to make friends. In the future many things will change, but this period is still very important. The students have to understand also that first impression is not the most important, but it is still influence a lot on the future relations. Besides, the freshers do not have to think that the friends whom they have found during the first days in the university will be their friends till the end of their lives.
With some people the students will argue in the beginning. It is also quite natural, because different people have different preferences, characters and temperament.
